The Alliance to Reclaim Our Schools is governed by a Coordinating Committee, made up of representatives from the organizations who form AROS, listed below. Each organization has a minimum of two seats on the Coordinating Committee, and base-building organizations have three with the third seat reserved for folks closest to the ground. It is the responsibility of the Coordinating Committee to hire an Executive Director, agree upon a strategic plan, and help effectuate that plan by actively participating in committees and offering resources to the organization.
